A veterinarian and owner of an animal shelter in Sao Paulo, Brazil struggle to save the life of a paralyzed lion. The lion, named Ariel, was born with a degenerative disease in the last year has made it unable to use all four legs. It is worth noting that women have begun a campaign to try to pay for the care of the unfortunate animal. The following photos are especially touching.
